Youth

We deeply desire for our young people to be saved and come to a knowledge of the Truth. Therefore, we encourage parents to start introducing them to the truths of God’s Word at a very early age. We believe that it is primarily the parents’ responsibility to raise their children in the fear and admonition of the Lord, through biblical discipline, family devotions, and catechetical instruction. In order to supplement these things done in the context of the home, Sycamore offers Sunday School for all ages. Our desire is to equip the young people to be able to participate more fully in the corporate life and worship of the church by teaching them God’s great story of redemption running throughout His Word, we demonstrate to our children that all things point to Jesus Christ. By teaching them the catechism, we impart to them the language and categories to understand what they hear in the sermons and read in His Word.

In order to encourage fellowship, we plan several activities and gatherings throughout the year. Keep your eyes and ears open for upcoming events!
